Rain Barrels and Cisterns

Rainwater harvesting systems can help collect rain to be used for landscaping needs later in the year.

Program Requirements:

  • Minimum capacity of 50 gallons to be eligible for rebate
  • Total rebates for rain barrels and cisterns may not exceed $5,000 per site

Lawn Conversion

Converting existing turf to low- & no-water using landscapes can save water outdoors and provide a beautiful water-smart landscape.

Program Requirements:

  • Pre-conversion inspections are required. Once the application is received, the pre-conversion inspection can be scheduled
  • If lawn is reinstalled within 10 years of the completion date of the project, the entire rebate remount is required to be repaid to the City

Clothes Washer

Installing a front-loading Energy Star® Most Efficient clothes washer can reduce water and energy use at home.

Program Requirements:

  • Clothes washer must be a front-loading Energy Star Most Efficient qualified product or CEE Tier 2 or above
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application

Rebate amount: $75 per unit

Water rebates - Low Flow Toilets

Low Flow Toilet

Replacing old inefficient toilets with low flow toilets can help save water indoors. 

Program Requirements:

  • Toilet(s) must be .8 gpf or less.
  • Toilet(s) must be an EPA WaterSense labeled fixture.
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application.

Irrigation Upgrades

WaterSense labeled irrigation controllers can significantly reduce overwatering by applying water only when plants need it.

Program Requirements:

  • WaterSense labeled weather-based or moisture sensing controller
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application.
