The City's has developed an ongoing deferred maintenance program that addresses deferred maintenance throughout the Parks, Open Space, and Recreational Facility system using the Parks and Recreation Facilities Assessment and the Accessibility Evaluation, along with input from community members and user groups, the Parks and Recreation and Senior Advisory Commissions, and City Council to develop a framework for prioritizing projects for the use of these funds. Projects are approved by City Council and incorporated into the City's Capital Improvement Program.
