Abel De Luna's Biography:
Abel De Luna was a respected and influential business, community and civic leader in Healdsburg during the 1970s and 80s. He moved to Healdsburg in 1970. Notable in Healdsburg history, Abel DeLuna became the first Mexican-American elected to the Healdsburg City Council, in March 1976. He served as Mayor from March 1978 to April 1980. At age 31, he became the youngest and the first Latino Mayor elected.
