Features
Badger Park sits on 11 acres of land that includes a community garden, athletic fields, children’s playground, park benches & picnic tables, a trail along riparian habitat, and a dog park with water and shade.
Dog Parks
The Healdsburg Dog Park Committee, a group of community volunteers, worked with the city over a 3 year period to create 2 off leash areas and improved leash laws. The funds to create these 2 dog parks on city property were raised through the Healdsburg Dog Park Fund at the Community Foundation Sonoma County. All donations to the "Dog Park Fund" are tax deductible.
Picnic Area
The Badger Park picnic area has 4 tables under a large oak tree, and can accommodate a maximum of 40 people. This area is located next to a playground with benches and a drinking fountain. Picnic reservations can be made by completing a Picnic Area Application or by calling the Community Services Department.
