The Healdsburg City Council welcomes local non-profit organizations to apply for funding from the City’s Community Benefit Grant Program. A total of $50,000 is available for the 2020 program year.
The City Council is interested in projects that:
- benefit a large cross-section of residents
- offer a sustainable benefit to Healdsburg
- support community participation.
Of particular interest are programs and projects related to the City’s Strategic Plan Initiatives and that fulfill the current year’s City Council goals. Individual grant awards typically range from $2,000 to $10,000.
In 1998, the City Council established Community Benefit Grant Program funded by interest earned on the proceeds from the sale of the former city hall facility. This program was created to provide funding to local non-profit organizations with programs or projects designed to meet and/or address community needs.
