The City Council of the City of Healdsburg established a Community Benefit Grant Program funded by interest earned on the proceeds from the sale of the former city hall facility. This program was created to provide funding to local non-profit organizations with programs or projects designed to meet and/or address community needs.
The Council is interested in projects that benefit a large cross section of residents, offer a sustainable benefit to Healdsburg and support community participation. Of particular interest are programs and projects related to the City’s Strategic Plan Initiatives and that fulfill the current year’s City Council goals. A total of $50,000 is available for the 2018 program year. Individual grant awards typically range from $2,000 to $10,000.
The application is attached and available on the city website http://www.ci.healdsburg.ca.us/642/7618/Community-Benefit-Grant; hard copies are available at City Hall, 401 Grove Street. Completed applications must be submitted to Raina Allan by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018. Postmarks will not be accepted.
