The City’s newest solar project, located in Lancaster California, came online last week and is now suppling additional solar generation to Healdsburg. Named the Antelope Expansion, the project will generate 17-megawatts of solar generation, of which Healdsburg is entitled to 2-megawatts. This new renewable energy source is expected to the provide Healdsburg with roughly 5.9-million kilowatt-hours of energy annually. This project will meet roughly 8% of citywide energy needs and helps continue Healdsburg's efforts towards cleaner energy.
