The whole community is invited downtown for a weekend full of holiday festivities, starting Friday, December 3. The main event will kick-off tonight with a celebration in Plaza Park. The evening will begin with a welcome and Hanukkah ceremony at 5pm. Santa will arrive at 6pm for the lighting of the new Plaza Christmas Tree. Throughout the evening enjoy photos with Santa and the Hanukkiah, children’s activities, live music from carolers and Healdsburg Jazz, complimentary hot chocolate, food and drink options from local vendors, and an outdoor movie on plaza Street, and more! All weekend long, we encourage you to support the downtown businesses during a sidewalk and specials sale, listen to a performance from the Healdsburg chorus, and view the holiday lights throughout town. Huge thanks to our partner Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, our sponsor Healdsburg Tourism Improvement District, and to Image Tree Service for donating their services to decorate the tree! In addition, staff replaced the old, and worn-out basketball backboards with new ones.
