Take the Measure V Survey

Image of Pen illustrating Measure V Survey

Healdsburg community members can now take the 2020 Measure V survey, which is available in both print and online, English and Spanish. The English-language version is available here and the Spanish-language version can be found here. The one-page survey is also being mailed to everyone within the City limits. The aim of the annual Measure V survey is to inform the City how funding from Measure V, a half-cent sales tax, should be allocated according to these priorities: street maintenance and repair, public safety, maintenance of city facilities, and economic development. The deadline to submit a completed survey is Feb. 6.

DASH Program Hits Six-Month Mark

The DASH Volunteer Driver Transportation Program completed its first six months of operation in late December 2019. Almost 30 volunteer drivers have provided 553 one-way rides to 106 riders in our community. Drivers clocked 3,825 total miles and 415 hours of drive time since the DASH program launched in June 2019. Rider satisfaction is very high according to rider evaluations. Rider comments include gratitude for the door-thru-door service, helpful drivers, comfortable cars, and appreciation to the City for the service. Volunteer drivers appreciate the opportunity to serve the senior community in such a direct way. If you know a senior who would benefit from this service or if you’re interested in becoming a volunteer driver, please call the DASH Hotline at 707-431-3159 or email dobrien@cityofhealdsburg.org
